Video of my new apartment... still a few things need to be done but it's looking much better than April :D

Interesting features: -The drawers in the kitchen & bathroom soft close (avoids jamming fingers). -My balcony is one of only a few that were painted with epoxy to help protect and strengthen it. -Each floor has its own colour. I'm on the "violet" floor... more like purple. -I am close to the elevator -If I need the front door of my apartment to open automatically, I can have the feature installed.

I work until 2 today and then am off tomorrow, and work from home Friday afternoon (in the office in the morning). Next week, I go to Chicago for work on Wednesday/Thursday. Later this month, we're going to Ocean City, MD, for a week - I can't wait!

Also, I lost my bathhouse streak on Monday. I was online and have no idea how I could've forgotten to go. :( I think I was around 345 days. At least I got the achievement!

I think I'm up to 86 or 87 days - we're going leaving for the west coast today and won't be back until Sunday (you can bet that the first thing I packed in the RV was the mobile internet box!). We're staying near Siesta Key Beach <3 one of my all time favorite beaches :) I am so looking forward to getting away for a few days and relaxing.

Spent the better part of my morning chasing down Ariana's dog - the big gate across the driveway was open and I didn't notice until I had opened the door and let her out.. of course she went running right through it before I could get it closed :( I've been working on leash training so that when she sees the leash she sits, but we're not quite there yet and it took about half a mile before she realized she didn't know where she was at and wanted on her leash... this dog is going to be the end of me!! The minute our ground temps are below 80 during flight times, she is headed back to Kansas!! Either that or the hubby and I will be taking a road trip to Kansas sooner rather than later! I'm thinking of planning the trip out based on campgrounds I want to visit - straight through the drive can be done is just over 26 hours, so I'm thinking 3 or 4 days to get there if we take our time, a couple days there, and then 3 or 4 days back... or the equivalent of about 2 weeks... not sure he'll go for that yet!

Bummer about your bathhouse streak Mina! I'm at 184 days and counting. Congrats on keeping your streaks going, Theresa and Yvette! Anyone else doing something fun tomorrow? My whole apartment building is going over to swim in my sister's pool and have a cookout! Sounds like a big crowd, but it's a 3 apartment building and there's only 6 of us LMAO! Plus, most of us are related, my son and his roommate live above us and my nephew and his roommate live below us :D

Sounds like fun, Jenn! We're taking it easy this year and plan to enjoy our own pool and cook some burgers and hot dogs. My cousin has a big party every year with her in-ground pool, but we didn't feel up for that (plus, lots of little kids there, lol).

I had the 1st (Canada Day)... spent part of it in apart.

Thanks for the encouraging words, everyone.

Dealing with heatwave... big probs on my health. I can hardly eat (nausea), augments balance probs, feeling unwell. 1.5 weeks to move. Thankfully, most is already packed.

Various issues in new apart but one by one dealing with them. Crazy stuff like new toilets are too high, shelving screwed into drywall directly instead of into anchors, no hole for dishwasher hose, etc. Luckily, I know how to use power tools & I'm creative B)

Lol, I couldn't even keep bathhouse 1 week! Normally when I get into a grove I can do a few hundred days but dang this heat!
